Default Countdown?

So, I thought about this at work today. The Birthday Massacre have been eliminating a song from the track list on their albums since Violet. Look:

Violet: 13 tracks
Walking With Strangers: 12 tracks
Pins and Needles: 11 tracks
Hide and Seek: 10 tracks

Any coincidence? I think not! There has to be meaning to this!

Nah, maybe not, but it sure is fun to think about.

Thoughts?

what were to happen if their next album had 12 songs? lol, I think it's pure coincidence- perhaps they felt proud and accomplished of what they produced and didn't feel a need to make any more additions

What about Nothing & Nowhere? It has 9 tracks.

I think Nothing and Nowhere was excluded do to having 9 and not keeping up with the countdown as you said. As well as having many tracks which were rereleased on Violet and Walking With Strangers.

Yeah, this thread wasn't entirely meant to be taken seriously. It was more for fun and nonsensical speculation because I'm stoked to be a fan of this band, a member of this forum, and to be seeing them live for the first time in December!

I didn't include Nothing and Nowhere because I consider Violet to be their first proper, full length, official release. I say this because both Violet and Walking With Strangers both had updated versions of songs from Nothing and Nowhere (as wells as the Imagica demo). That's not to discredit Nothing and Nowhere either, it's just my perception.
