Default Colt

Originally called 'Living With Eating Disorders', Colt released an album back in 2005 produced by John Fryer (Depeche Mode, HIM, Cocteau Twins), followed by an EP titled 'You Hold On To What's Not Real'...

They drew a lot of comparisons to Queen Adreena at the time. The similarities are here and there (more so in Andrea and KJG's stage presence) but ultimately Colt found their influences in other artists like Nine Inch Nails, Portishead and Tori Amos and are quite unique I think.

Although they're sadly not making music right now, I thought they might appeal to a lot of people on here (having just looked at your 'Top 10 Albums' lists!)

Please watch their videos and let me know your shiny thoughts if you have the time:

Hope you like!

Queen Adreena! Unfortunately, I don't hear it. I did give it a listen though! However it might be too weird, even for me!

I'm actually glad you can't. I don't think the band heard it either and it just became another tiresome comparison after a while (even though they're both great!)

Just one more video. It was one of the many contributed to their gallery night called 'A Parliament of Monsters' (as was the second vid in my last post.) It doesn't get any less weird ...but it's as pretty as it is creepy.

Plus every TBM fan loves a creepy doll!
