Downloading it now. I've enjoyed his previous stuff so I'm anxious to hear this now.

Ok listened to it last night. Great stuff from him again. The first track and last track are probably my favorites.

So far my favorites are the first and the third. Overall, I'm liking Aslan's work. I'm going to have to listen to it some more before I have a fully formed opinion.

It takes a few listens to digest this record. I like calling it a record because there is a historical perspective to the conversation. It does form a conversation if you listen from beginning to end. The main topic of discussion is drugs - but it goes much deeper. I didn't set out to make a record about drugs but it just sort of formed. In a way it feels like I was just acting as a conduit. Now I'm trying to make sense of it. I'm not sure if drugs are the most pressing issue. But in Canada tomorrow they will vote on Bill C-15, which would give a mandatory jail sentence of 6 months for the possession of one marijuana plant. I'm interested to hear feedback from this record and to hear what young people think about drugs. Thanks for listening.

Hmmm, interesting. I really hope that Bill does not go through. Putting people in jail because of drug possession is absurd.

I guess this is a concept "album" of sorts then. Sounds cool. My biggest problem is that at my old age I tend to have a hard time making out the vocals (or samples, as in this case.)

I played through the entire album two more times this evening and it's really growing on me. I'm not quite sure what the central message is at this point. Gimme some time.

As for my opinon on drugs: Hah, I could write a lot on that topic! But to be brief, I'll just say that I think marijuana should probably be legal. I wouldn't go that far with harder drugs like heroin though.

I've dabbled with drugs, some more than others but most of that if not all of it is in my past. I'll take a really good beer any day over most drugs (alcohol = my drug of choice). Marijuana should be legal though, I don't know anyone whose died on that but I do know people who have died because of alcohol or some who have almost lost their lives because of it. I'm ok with drugs, if that's your thing so be it. As long as their not abused I don't see a problem, however I know some people (including myself at one time in my past) have trouble not abusing drugs and use them to get by/as an excuse/etc.

Whatever the case, I enjoy the album

Argh! His site is down so I can't download anything and I don't know where my MP3 files are.

Can anybody .ZIP/.RAR and upload his music for us? Cheers in advance!

Just a theory, though! Don't get your hopes up.

So, I've had no luck finding Aslan's latest creation for 10/10/2010 ... did he not release anything this year?
