Default Banners and Logos

Greetings All,

I am looking to verify the Font type that is used for the Birthday Massacre Logo. The old one was Folkard. The one presently used I think is Dolphin. Though not 100 percent.

Cheers, Xiphius

There's no way it's Dolphin. That font is a really rounded, bubble looking 70's font. The logo is just Times New Roman with a couple little mods, such as the 'i', and the longer arm on the r.

here, this took longer to upload to photobucket than to make:

Try looking at Dolphin in all caps.

Jesse,
Not doubting, just looking at possibilities. Cap-ped Dolphin is quite close to Times New Roman. The modded "R" looks like a cross between the two fonts.

How's the CS3 InDesign working for you?

On a fonts note: make sure to back up all the pre2007 era fonts. Microsoft is changing it's basic fonts.

fuck microsoft. ha. cs3 is great all-around, i miss some of the shortcuts from cs2, but the new features are pretty decent.

as for the r, i assume somebody just did outlines and dragged a couple points down, the angles appear to be identical to TNR.
