No it didn't! It used to say something like "if its your site, click here to renew it" but now it says "This domain is
FOR SALE. Request Quote." Also, it used to be dark red, and now it's green. Maybe I'm just being stupid, as that has been known to happen. I'm pretty sure it tried to sell itself to me, though.

it totally did. Abandoned Websites are known for turning tricks/Prostituting to pay the bills.

it sold itself to me once to. Ask it to give you a sideways swedish Wondershower.

it will curl your toenails.

Make sure you don't have any ammonia allergies though.

I'm not really sure that the "band is aware of it", since they've been home from touring for 4 days now and the site is still up for grabs for anyone who would want to purchase it. Either they don't really give a shit, or they don't hava a few pennies to spare so their fans can enjoy a beautiful site.

TBM posted a few weeks ago that they were aware of it and all was fine, and I'm pretty sure they care about the site, as they linked to it on the new website.
The price is almost a hundred thousand pennies, if anyone is interested. I'm gonna be pissed if someone else buys it and doesn't bring back the old site.

Lightbulb Some more info

Yesterday I was browsing some of my favorite sites and when I tried to see nothingandnowhere.com (nnn) I realized that it had expired and now was for sale, so I asked for the price of the domain and they emailed me the number: $990 USD

So I thought maybe TBM just didn't notice the domain was expired and that now has been taken by some opportunist people. I remembered that waaay back in the early days of violet I loved nnn so much I used to spend a lot of my free time searching for the easter eggs and the hidden content... anyways, I ended up "ripping" the entire site and saving it in one of my backup Hard Disks (I was studying Computer Science Engineering at that time so it was REALLY fun).
I was hoping the site to never go down but nevertheless I made the backup

Well, my point: http://board.violetprison.com/showth...6076#post86076

Aww, it's still not Birthday massacre-ised T_T

It's so sad, I used to love going there and letting the background music just play while I did art or something, it was so lovely.

This sucks. Didn't the band say that they would put it back up soon? Like three months ago now? I don't think it'll come back, they just don't listen to their fans.

^actually, they do in most cases. TBM is probably better than any other band I can think of at interacting with the fans and just pretty much being kickass people as well as making good music.

^fa sho!!

I've never seen a band interact with their fans as much as they do.

Even though its getting harder for them...there's a lot of us now.

^ i've seen a lot of bands to that, so it's really not that special (also bands bigger than TBM). which doesn't make it any less awesome of course

I just think that you can't really say they don't care about the fans. They do. Go to a show and you will see proof of this. They are nice people and there obviously must be a reason why the site isn't back other than they just don't care about what we want.

I didn't say that they didn't care about their fans, just that they clearly haven't listened to the many fans who have wanted the site back online... and if they've said that the site would be back up "shortly"... now clearly that's a lie.

And you don't lie to your fans.
