I want to go... But I'm pretty sure most if not every PR still hates me for my videos.

After hearing the news of the tour, I took it upon myself to watch an entire EA concert on youtube (the L.A. show from earlier this year). I felt very weird watching the whole thing. EA live is clearly for a mostly different audience. I was asking myself who is playing the instruments. From what I could tell, no one. EA still sings the songs herself, and there were very few minutes of her playing the violin and piano. Other than that, it's basically a burlesque show. I am not hating on her style, yet I fear the crossover of fan base, especially for the live performances, is not as large as some people may believe. Obviously, this could likely also be the reasoning for the co-headlining tour, to increase each others fan base. I am hoping that EA will change the style of their show to be more "compatible" with TBM's style of simply kicking ass as a more traditional concert performance.

Anyways, I neglected to see TBM in Toronto this past August due to travel costs, but I'm pretty sure that I'll be travelling to their Nov 29 show in Toronto and getting VIP.
Blas, if you like EA's music then I think you'll like EA+BC live. I've been to a few of her shows and they were great! Assuming this is a similar playlist to her FLAG tour from earlier this year it should be mostly tracks from that album.

For anyone who isn't sure if they like Emilie Autumn, I have three recommendations for the three different styles of her music:
  • Album: Opheliac (What most people will have heard, evolves between this and Fight Like A Girl)
    - Song: Dead Is the New Alive - Manipulator Mix by Dope Stars Inc (heard this on Pandora and it's what drew me into her music, fantastic mix of a great song
  • Album: Laced/Unlaced (pure violin instrumental...don't get me wrong she is an amazing classical musician but her electric violin compositions are masterpieces and that's why I listen to this album)
  • Album: Enchant (older album, wider variety of sounds but probably not what you're after unless you like her as an artist)

This show is going to rock!

Others? Let 'em hate. Enjoy the music and they'll do the same, anyone starts shit it'll be ended pretty quick.

It's on the Saw IV soundtrack.

I'll be in Pittsburgh and maybe Philadelphia. A home show (for me) and such. Neat!

I'm going to remain optimistic and believe that most of the people going to this show know both artist and there really shouldn't be to much out of the ordinary response wise. Think of big venues like Warped Tour where dozen of genres are clashing and not once did it seem out of place to put a soft band before an death metal band. So just from experience I'm not too worried about the sound clashing, unless they were playing at the same time.

On a different note if there is anyone in proximity to the Philadelphia show I'm up for being transportation since I'll be driving from Norfolk, VA. I'm kind of curious about parking and hotels since I've never stayed up there and will be at a disadvantage.

Just bought the VIP Package for Philly btw

Got my Cleveland VIP this morning! Now I just have to remember to bring a decent camera, instead of using my old iPod's.

I've been listening to some of EA's stuff, and watching some of her live performances. I just can't get into her music, and her shows are too dramatic for my taste. But hey, maybe my opinions will change after I see it all in person!

Black Veil Brides are a band who did a tour with TBM around the US a few years ago. We (as in, the VP) instantly disliked them as their music is shit, their fans are douchebags and while most of the band was OK, the singer is a complete cockhead. It's a long story.

Anyone who demeans or disses Chibi publicly like that (especially when uncalled for) drops to lower rung on my respect anytime. Then again viewing the whole drama objectively it could just be chalked up to crazy fandoms. That being said I just don't like BVB sound, whether half the rumors about said tour were true has yet to be seen.

Aw, man...of course I'd be in Europe when they go back the States! oh well. If you're going, have an awesome time!
