Default Nov 29 Detroit headliner at the Hard Rock Cafe

Who's going?

Here's the Hard Rock Cafe floorplan:

http://www.hardrock.com/locations/ca...67&MIBenumID=3

This one's a little weird. Might just be me, but I never thought I'd go to a concert at a HRC. The one in Detroit is smaller than other HRCs I've been too as well...guess it might be a cozy concert? Has anyone attended a show here before?

Bonus: It's in the Compuware world HQ building, and they will* validate your parking even if you're only there for the concert. Free! (So said the employee on the phone.) I like free...

Downer: It's a Hard Rock Cafe. The food is alright, sometimes quite good, but the price is high because you're paying for ambience. So if anyone's interested in food before or after we might want to consider a different destination.

SHIT, I'M GOING!!! *calls a friend*
If it's free, I'll be up there faster than you can say, "NETTA, WHERE ARE MY BUNNY EARS?!"

I may have given the wrong impression...free as in parking, not concert. Though $15 isn't bad as tickets go.

Looks like I'll be there. Bringing one friend for sure, maybe two beyond that.

Got my ticket. Also checked out some performances of the Hard Rock Live on You Tube and it looks like a nice venue. Nice stage, good lighting.
@Glacialis - I'm Isaac that added you on Facebook last week.

Awesome! Look forward to meeting you. Thanks for the venue info, I'm much less anxious about things now.

I had a great time at the concert. It was a great venue and TBM rocked their first show once again. I was able to meet up with Glacialis and his wife and their friend. I was able to get some great videos and will be uploading soon to Youtube.

Before the show started I picked up one of Chibi's custom craft toys, a set of Owen's buttons and later I finally got The Show and Tell DVD signed.

After the show I got to meet Rhim, Owen, Chibi and later Rainbow and Nate. Me and Rhim talked about SkyRhim. As usual they were so nice and down to earth.

Update: Added a ton of pics to an album

Yo, those pics rule. I'll watch the videos later.

TBM rocks so much! (god, I'm such a adult-teen typing that...) I love that they played Forever and Burn Away. That rules.

Side note: Is it bad to say I'm starved for some new music? I know they just released Imaginary Monsters, which is fantastic, but I'm already jonesin' for a new album. BUT, they should take a break after they're finished touring for Pins and Needles. They've been at it for so long now maybe they need to recharge. Who knows? I'm just going on a mini rant right now. Don't mind me. Anyway, have a grand night everyone!

They haven't been really touring much in 2011, they played only two shows up until now they got that tour going on with Dir En Grey. Falcore has mentioned that when they finish this tour, they'll start writing new material for a new album, probably due out in late summer (that's my guess). I wish they would play a bunch more shows though. Seems like they have been cutting down on that. Since last year, they only did a month long tour with Otep, a month long tour in U.K., and a month long tour with Black Veil Brides. Yes, 3 months total, which is quite long time for touring, but the only headlining tour was the one in the U.K.

If you don't mind me asking, how much were Chibi's craft toys? I'm going to see them tomorrow and I don't like taking too much money to concerts. Just enough for merch.
