I listened to one of their songs; damn shit. So far from TBM's quality level. And their image is absolutely ridiculous.

Am I the only one who's wondering why EA chose to tour with TBM? She seems like the type of person who doesn't tour with other bands.

That's why I don't understand why everyone is being so critical, if she made this choice, might she actually have a good reason and we should trust her with such a decision?

I myself actually like the idea of them touring together, it shows a lot of character on both sides, and I'm curious to see how it will pan out

I was really into the Opheliac album around the time that it came out years ago. It's pretty damn good. I also enjoyed Laced/Unlaced and Enchant. F.L.A.G. I just could not get into nearly as much, mainly because I think my tastes have changed slightly over the years. I have started to listen to it again and giving it another chance though. I do enjoy EA's music and I am looking forward to seeing her live, even if her live performance may not exactly be my "cup of tea". I would love to see her utilize the violin and harpsichord more.

In any case, I just purchased the TBM VIP package for Toronto, so I'll probably see you there.

We don't know if it was her idea.

We're being critical because we don't think the styles will work well together. I mean, heaps of people here are still going to go to the concert, but this is not the kind of tour that you can look at and, with a glance, declare 'This is going to be absolutely amazing no matter what!'

I don't think bands really choose who they tour with anyway, right? I mean as far as bands like TBM go, I'm pretty sure it's up to their manager or label or something.

It could be absolutely disastrous, considering how insane Emilie Autumn is.

This superficially reminds me of the MSI tour. Assuming no weird tour drama, I don't think that's a bad thing. Hopefully it'll end up the same way that tour did. More new fans = more money for TBM to keep doing what they do.

It's a marketing idea. And I approve of it. Most TBM fans know of EA and EA fans know of TBM. I personally don't care for EA, but I do like the song "FLAG." So in my honest opinion this will expose more of TBM's fanbase to EA... Those who didn't know of or give her a chance and for EA fans who may not know of TBM to check them out. It's a win-win for both bands because they have nothing to lose, but potential new fans to gain. Although I personally may bounce before EA goes on (it seems like she's the main event of the evening)... Or would be willing to leave early if I am not enjoying her set.

I'm not even in the same country, so all I'll be doing is watching and commenting. *le shrug*
